Stock-Lok Channel Sleeve for Magpul & Daniel Defense

0.50

This item is an OPTIONAL piece for use with Magpul and Daniel Defense stocks. Stock-Lok will work with Magpul and Daniel Defense stocks straight out of the box, however, this channel sleeve will help protect from over tightening.

Unlike the standard M4 and MFT stocks which have an staggered or stepped channel where the spring-loaded adjustment pin sits, Magpul and Daniel Defense stocks have a straight, even channel which could allow the user to over-tighten the Stock-Lok screw.

It's always recommended to be contentious about only tightening the Stock-Lok screw until snug, however non-stepped channels make over-tightening easier. Over-tightening can cause a small round mark in the bottom of the peg hole in your buffer tube where the screw over extends the bottom of the Stock-Lok and contacts the bottom of the adjustment peg hole in the buffer tube. Unless user severely over tightens, the marks in the peg holes are merely small superficial marks in the bottom of the peg hole which is never seen unless you look for it. These minor marks do not affect function or durability of the buffer tube or Stock-Lok.

This channel sleeve simply helps create a stop to help protect the user from over tightening. With or without the sleeve, the user should simply tighten until the stock is snug and does not move or rattle. Tightening just to snug is sufficient to keep the stock securely locked in place.
